Teacher Training Retreat: Tuscany

One of the biggest challenges facing us in new education is the relationships between adults and children. We must transform them into co-creative relationships based on mutual trust and respect. The old paradigm practices of teaching our children through fear, coercion, and punishment are now ready to fall away. Most parents and teachers realize the necessity for such a shift and are seeking the tools to do it

What Is This: Our yoga, meditation training retreat is a new way for teachers to get valuable training they can use in school and enjoy a rejuvenating retreat at the same time.

We are currently planning a retreat conference in central Italy in March and July 2012. The goals are:

to provide a nurturing, natural environment for parents and teachers to explore their childhood journeys with their own parents and teachers
to apply those experiences to creating new uplifting, empowering relationships with students and children
to learn to assist children in becoming aware of their true potential for co-creating new systems
to increase our ability to stay in present moment awareness
to teach how to manage a classroom and home holistically with attention to the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual gifts and requirements of children.

These retreats will offer many practical ways to apply new concepts of relationship with children both at home and at school, as well as, relaxation, rejuvenation, and recharging through yoga, meditation, horse-back riding, swimming, massage, and many other services and amenities. Meals provided are organic and mostly vegetarian.
